Full Service Production

This covers everything. Pre-production (planning and preparing the project), production (filming the project), and post-production (editing the footage into your desired video).

The exact amount of your estimate will vary based on your specific project details (how much planning is required, how many days it will take to film, how long it will take to edit, etc). Here is the general pricing.

  • Pre-Production

    • $100 flat fee for simple productions (filming at your location, no need for extra crew/talent, etc)

      • This covers meetings with you to discuss and plan your project and the necessary preparation on my side

    • $150 per day for more complicated productions (location scouting/permission, crew and talent acquisition, etc).

  • Production

    • $500 per day

      • This covers the cost of my labor and equipment for the day

  • Post-Production

    • $350 per day

      • This includes going through all footage, editing it into your desired video, adding other elements such as music and basic motion graphics (titles, lower thirds, etc), color correction and grading (additional costs may be applied for more advanced color grading)

      • This also includes up to two major revisions (additional revisions cost $50 each)

  • Additional Fees (if you make any requests that incur additional charges after you have received an estimate from me, I will inform you of the additional cost before completing the request)

    • Mileage

      • For projects that require a further drive to locations. This can be applied to both pre-production and production. This exact amount is determined based on the current IRS mileage rate

    • Advanced color grading

      • $200 for up to 30 shots, then $10 per additional shot or

      • $15 per shot (this is primarily for if you only need a couple shots done)

      • This is if your projects requires special color grading techniques. Some examples include changing specific colors within a shot (such as making a blue dress into a red dress without changing the rest of the image), color matching drastically different shots (day/night, indoor/outdoor, etc), or making highly stylized looks

Partial Services

This option is for if you don’t need me for all parts of your project or if you are another video production service in need of additional crew. These are each individual services that I provide. You may notice the individualized prices are lower for the full service production. I am able to charge less on those because they are combined.

  • Production

    • $650 per day

      • This covers the cost of my labor and equipment for the day

  • Post-Production

    • $450 per day

      • This includes going through all footage, editing it into your desired video, adding other elements such as music and basic motion graphics (titles, lower thirds, etc), color correction and grading (additional costs may be applied for more advanced color grading)

      • This also includes up to two major revisions (additional revisions cost $50 each)

  • Advanced Color Grading

    • $650 per day

      • This is only if you already have your video edited and just need color grading. This includes all advance color grading.

      • This includes up to one major revision (additional revisions cost $75 each)

  • Additional Fees

    • These fees are exactly the same as for full service production

Note: This is a general pricing guide and is meant to be a starting point to give you a rough idea of the cost. Your estimate may vary depending on factors including but not limited to the complexity of your project, scheduling, and delivery needs. Additionally, this reflects general pricing specifically for me (Michael) at AV Pro. If your project requires additional crew or talent, their fees will be added in addition to mine.
