Documentaries

These projects were completed as a class requirement. They were done as group projects. Our group completed two documentary videos for a collaboration of clients. The purpose of both videos was to highlight how funds from the Appalachian Community Grant Program were being used to make improvements in the towns of Portsmouth and Racine (both in Ohio).

For both videos, the entire group worked as producers for the entirety of the project. My particular role in pre-production was helping with the storyboards and planning shoot days. For production of both projects, I was Director of Photography and a camera operator. I assisted with lighting for the interviews. I also conducted the interviews for Mayor Scott Hill and Matt Leasure. For post-production, I labeled and backed up all of the collected footage for the editors to work with and to help save them time.
